11th week...edit..editt

For this week's class, Pn Foziah shared with us about photo editing. She showed us some examples of photos that have been edited.


WHAT IS PHOTO EDITING?

Photo editing encompasses the processes of altering images, whether they be digital photographs, traditional analog photographs, or illustrations. Traditional analog image editing is known as photo retouching, using tools such as an airbrush to modify photographs, or editing illustrations with any traditional art medium. Graphic software programs, which can be broadly grouped into vector graphics editors, raster graphics editors, and 3d modelers, are the primary tools with which a user may manipulate, enhance, and transform images. Many image editing programs are also used to render or create computer art from scratch.


Before Puan Foziah giving us some briefing about E-book, she told us to watch to her slides regarding on Photo editing which is for task 1. She showed us some examples of photos which already being edited and emphasis on certain things that we should do do in order to make our picture become more meaningful.I can remember the most important things that she stressed out are:That picture must:


- Have a story behind it ( maybe by looking at the picture we can think about the message of that picture, maybe it's about love etc)

- Have a copyright, means our signature


There are also many purposes of editing the pictures. The purposes are:

1) It will make that pictures become more interesting after being edited

2) Able to create our own pictures so it will become our teaching aids later

3) Arouse pupil' attention when it being used in classroom



Then, we were asked to edit what we have done and at the same time, she will move around to see our work whether we have to edit that picture again or to redo.


After that, we were asked to find our partner regarding on task 2 which is about E-book. Before we having some discussions with each partner, we were asked to look at some of the examples. Puan Foziah stressed out certain things:

1) that e-book must have pictures

2) It must have some animations

3) It also must includes some audios

4) There must be a storyboard of our E-book.
